Most Recent Entries Friday, November 11, 2005 Taps It's hard to believe another Veteran's Day here ,i can remember the one just last year. I suppose they'll be the "sales" everyone runs out to and maybe even a speech or two from the "leaders" of the free world about our Veterans. Words can hardly express the heartache a family feels losing someone on the battle field or how they feel sending their kids off to a war they rather not be in. Words can't express what it feels like rapping a package to send oversees hoping it will bring some joy or relief to their loved one or fearing that they'll still be alive when it arives.Words really are just that words and nothing can be said to expres thankfulness to the folks that risk their lives to bring Freedom to others around the world including ourselves.So before you run out to the "sale" of the day stop and try to imagine what it feels like wraping a package to send to one of your own or visiting their grave site on this Verteran's Day.
